Porcelain bottle cooler, from the service of the pavilion of the Imperial Farm of Peterhof belonging to Tsarevich Alexander Nikolayevich of Russia, future Tsar Alexander II (1818-1881). Cylindrical in shape slightly flared towards the top, in white porcelain, decorated on each side with his monogram A (Alexander) in gold letter under polychrome and gold imperial crown, adorned on the sides with gold grips decorated with palm leaves and gold nets, resting on a pedestal base. Marks on the reverse in the paste in blue letters HI under imperial crown. Circa 1840. Good general condition. Imperial Manufactory, St. Petersburg.
